[1] Job Search and Job Training Skills will help ex-offender to
integrate back into society. Many ex-offender released from
prison can not get jobs. We will help them to find employers that
will help give them a second chance. We will provide classes for
job training skills: teaching them a proper way to dress for the
interview and what to say; A class teaching of resume skills; A
class on Basic computer skills. We will provide bus cards for
ex-offenders who need them so they can get to interviews. With
this support system we will reduce the rate of return to jail or
prison.
[2] The Counseling Program consists of, in part, a support group
meeting that is held once a week. This group meeting will provide
encouragement to help ex-offenders realize that other people
understand and are going through the same thing. We know at
H.U.G.G.S, that it is overwhelming to become productive after
being incarcerated
By empowering men and women self-esteem, giving them the
ability to come back into society with dignity and to obtain stability
and self-sufficient living.
3] The Financial Assistance and Health Care Information
programs; will provided information for uninsured and insured
individuals with their different health care needs. H.U.G.G.S,
specific goal in this program is to provide direct aid or funds for
doctor visits, purchasing of medicines, medical supplies and
equipment, food, clothing, paying utility bills; and if necessary, with
household expenses. We desire to assistance them in becoming
healthier and productive in their lives.

privileges, obtaining Tennessee
Drivers License, and finding sources
to assist in educational and medical
needs. Our goal is to be able to help
each ex-offender to gain the
confidence needed to become a
productive citizen with a healthy
lifestyle.
